Q: How long is the lease?

A: 8 month leases beginning September 1, 2018 and end on April 30, 2019.

Q: Are the units furnished?

A: No, units are not furnished. All units come with fridge/freezer, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer but no furniture.

Q: Is parking available?

A: Yes, for $60 per month per space in the underground garage

Q: Are Utilities Included?

A: No, utilities are not included

Q: Do you allow pets?

A: We do allow cats however dogs are not permitted as permanent or temporary residents on the property.

Q: Is the building only for students?

A: As this is a purpose built student property, we would not recommend leasing at 630 Princess Street if you are not a student.

Q: Can I lease a bedroom by myself?

A: No, sorry – our smallest unit is a 2 bedroom unit and our largest unit is a 4 bedroom unit, meaning you would have to find 1-3 roommates to sign a lease.

Q: Are the prices listed per bedroom?

A: Yes, prices on our website are starting prices and per bedroom.

Q: What influences the price?

A: Prices vary by unit, based on the layout, which floor they are on, what they are facing (e.g. courtyard, etc.) and unit size

Q: How far is the building to Campus?

A: The building is located on the corner of Princess and Nelson Street which is approximately 1,100m to Stauffer Library, or three iPod songs

Q: Joint and Several Lease

A: For a residential lease, joint and several liability means that each tenant is jointly AND separately responsible for the entire rent amount and for any damages.

Q: Will the building be a secure building?

A: Yes, the building will be locked at all times. Tenants will have access to it and the amenity areas only; there will also be a concierge on site.

Q: Are the units for sale or lease?

A: Yes, Our apartments are for sale. However, we also offer a rental option for the 2018/2019 year.

Q: What happens after 1st year of renting?

A: After the first year leases transition they will become 12 month terms. If you are not going to be in the Kingston area for the summer, subletting is always an option.
